Grandchase Enters 20 SA Markets

KOG announced its agreement of publishing action RPG <Grandchase> in South America with Latin Interactive Network taken place in last May.

LIN is an online game publisher servicing in about 20 SA countries including Argentina, Chile, Columbia, and Mexico and is publishing many korean online games such as <Audition>.

The CEO of LIN Cristian Schweizer said “We are glad to work with KOG and <Grandchase> would also hit the SA market as it is holding #1 CCU in Brazil.”

The CEO of KOG JongWon Lee said “We are exciting to work with LIN which is the best publisher in SA. The swift action based <Grandchase> would provide exciting experience to the SA gamers.”

<Grandchase> has been exported to various foreign markets including Brazil, Philippine, and recently added Indonesia.

DaeGu e-fun 2011 in May

e-fun 2011, a game show hosted by DaeGu city, kicks off on May 12 in combination with digital cable TV fair.

The game show is to promote the game and the smart content in DaeGu and it will be held at EXCO from 12th to 14th.

Last e-fun had been coordinated with grand final of IeSF(Ineternational eSports Federation) and lanparty of <Special Force> in October. But it will be held in May with the digital cable TV fair this year.

The exhibition with topic of ‘a world of game and smart content’ will have 4 thematic zones including character content, game content, 3D content experience, feeling content.

Well-known companies like Microsoft, KOG, Neowiz Games, etc. will participate and conference about next generation smart platfrom business aand content planning will also take place.

Besides the main schedules, national amateur eSports elimination matches, LG cinema GSL May final round, character fashion show, award ceremony for comic character contest, R-16 Korea Sparking b-boy tournament elimination matches and other exciting events will entertain visitors.

[KOG] Grand Chase Races into Indonesia

KOG announced its publishing agreement deal with PT. Megaxus Infotech to bring Grand Chase to Indonesia. The game kicks off CBT in April and is expected to begin OBT sometime in May.

PT Megaxus is currently publishing Lineage 2 and Audition in Indonesia.

[KOG] Grand Chase Surpasses 21,000 CCUs in Brazil

KOG‘s Grand Chase surpassed 21,000 CCUs in Brazil last January. ?The game has been operated by Level Up! Interactive in Brazil since 2006. Grand Chase Season 3 update is planned for the first half of the year.

Korean players are overwhelmed by all game-related events and conferences this week. Besides gamescom in Germany and Blizzcon in U.S., the much-anticipated Tera is going on CBT. Also, note that Korea is not all about online games. Among few console game developers in Korea,?SOFTMAX is releasing Magna Carta 2 for Xbox.
