Highly anticipated MMORPG <Sprial Genesis> which is the latest successor of <War of Genesis> series is likely to be introduced within this year and to be launched next year.
Softmax, the developer, has revised the project due date to September 2012 from September 2011 and has doubled its investment from US$5.6m.
Softmax’s contract with Game Hub Entertainment Industry company has been signed since last December 2008. Then it has been prolonged in order to enhance the visuality and completion of the game.
“Despite of the doubled investment, nothing changes in finance because they all will be put into the game development. But it could be a favorable factor that the quality of <Sprial Genesis> gets higher,” said GyeChan Moon a deputy of management support department.
<Sprial Genesis> is an official successor of <War of Genesis 3 Part 2> after 10 years. <War of Genesis> series is one of the greatest hit of Korean PC games in Korean gaming history.
