Battlezone Plus, a 2D shooting game, kicks off OBT on April 27 in Korea. Battlezone Plus claims it adjusted balancing issue between characters and increased moving speed.
Ani Park‘s Oz Chronicle got a renewal as After 537: Oz. The game is portraying 537 years after Oz Chronicle, hence the title. The game enters the 1st CBT on April 28 and continues till May 2. Once they are done with the test, there is going to update on Oz Chronicle server big time. NetMarble is publishing the game in Korea.
Four baseball game developers and publishers in Korea got sued by thirteen retired baseball players who claimed the companies have been using their names and in-game characters without players’ permission. Those company include 1) the developer of?Ma9 (마구마구: Kor)?AniPark, and 2) the Korean publisher ?CJ Internet and 3) the developer of?Slugger (MLB Dugout Heroes: Eng) Wise Cat, and 4) the Korean publisher Neowiz.
Looks like AniPark and CJ Internet has been aware of this portrait right controversy. During the last June update, they changed names of retired MLB players from full name to first name plus last name initial. The reason behind those changes was the companies don’t have rights to use retired players’ names based on the contract with MLBAD (MLB Advanced Media).
